When you teach your child right from wrong, what do you do when they defy you? This was a grown man not a child, so no excuse. It was known in their time that he was supposed to be resting as commanded. It sucks sometimes when you get to be the guy who figures out that violators get punished. But he did tell them that upfront, and there were REASONS. At that time Minions of Satan were still on the planet, and how better to identify them by catching the ones breaking the rules. That’s why he was on his own and not part of their group in the first place. Just a Demon that had not been cast back into the Lake of Fire yet.
